Hear directly from Cheryl below, as she explains her experience and passion within the industry.
“At the age of 17 I started work full time in Alan Edwards Salon in Glasgow’s buzzing merchant city. The 14 years I was there I assisted on the Alternative Hair Show, and won the Scottish region of the L’Oreal colour trophy. I have assisted with Malcolm Edwards on fashion shows such as Erdem, Ashish and Gareth Pugh to name a few. In 2010 I became a L’Oreal I.D Artist, this gave me a platform to raise my profile and I moved to London 6 years ago first working for Brooks and Brooks salon before moving to Daniel Galvin salon where I work as a style director. I’m still involved with fashion week, however, I now I manage a team backstage for Richard Phillipart.”
